Rosenblatt is delighted to announce that it has successfully reached a settlement for its clients in relation to a claim issued against them in the High Court for misappropriation of shares and breach of company articles, as well as a claim for knowing receipt.
Rosenblatt acted for two companies, both in the sports and leisure sector, as well as three shareholders/directors of these companies. The claim was made by a former employee and shareholder.
Concurrent proceedings had also been issued in the employment tribunal dealing with substantially the same facts, but with different considerations.
Both sets of proceedings have been settled.
The project was led by Laura Clatworthy, Partner, with support from Jenna Grabiner, Associate.
Laura commented:
“These types of claims can be challenging for the parties involved and I am delighted that my clients can now concentrate on their growing business.”
