Gerald Ronson has increased his Rontec Group’s 166 petrol service station forecourts to 210 with the addition of Snax 24’s 44 sites. The deal also included a multi-site five year supply agreement with BP worth £1bn.
The transaction involved teams from practice areas across Rosenblatt and was led by partners Jon Lovitt on the corporate side, David Sachs in banking and John Aynsley on real estate. The transaction follows a group reorganisation undertaken by Ronson in 2014 in respect of which Rosenblatt also acted when Ronson bought out original investors Grovewood and Invetec from Rontec.
