Rosenblatt has acted for the management team of Corbin & King, including Jeremy King and Christopher Corbin, in relation to the sale of the Corbin & King group, the group behind landmark restaurants in London such as The Wolseley, The Delaunay and Brasserie Zedel, to a newly incorporated vehicle backed by Minor International Pcl, one of the largest hospitality and leisure companies in the Asia-Pacific region that is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
The Rosenblatt team provided advice to Messrs Corbin and King, together with other members of the management team, in connection with the sale of their shares in the Corbin & King group.
As part of the transaction, Rosenblatt also advised the team on their equity stake in the acquiring entity
The sale and related equity arrangements successfully completed on 18 December 2017.
The Rosenblatt team was led by Elizabeth Shaw (Corporate Partner), who was assisted by, among others, Philip Alfandary (Tax Partner), David Sachs (Head of Banking), Matthew Bowen (Corporate Solicitor) and Abigail Watson (Trainee Solicitor).
