Rosenblatt, one of the UK’s pioneering legal practices and a leader in dispute resolution, announces the establishment of its new International Arbitration practice, a significant milestone in the firm’s objective to expand its global reach. The practice is being spearheaded through two new lateral hires, Partners Leonardo Carpentieri and Sara Paradisi, both renowned experts in international arbitration.
The practice has been launched in response to the growing demand the firm is experiencing for specialised international arbitration services, driven by the heightened complexity of cross-border disputes with factors such as global supply chain disruptions and a shifting geopolitical backdrop continuing to cause difficulties on international projects.

His impressive track record includes representing the State of Libya in parallel contractual and treaty ICC arbitration proceedings, as well as assisting major European energy corporates and contractors on various high-stakes cases in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
His most recent experience includes representing a major Nigerian oil company in ICC arbitration proceedings and related UK litigation in connection with oil drilling contracts and representing a Turkish aluminium and glass contractor in ICC arbitration proceedings in a termination dispute relating to a project located in the Middle East. Leonardo also advises on investment treaty structuring for foreign investors.
Sara Paradisi joins Rosenblatt as a Partner from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP). Paradisi is a contentious construction and international arbitration lawyer whose practice is focused on dispute resolution and international arbitration in relation to major construction, engineering, energy, mining and infrastructure projects. She has advised on major projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, with particular experience representing clients on both on-shore and off-shore oil & gas, power, and process plant projects.
