Diana is a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution team. She specialises in high value commercial litigation in the High Court and her work involves seeking and defending domestic and worldwide injunctions. Her experience spans a variety of industries, such as private equity, banking, broking, manufacturing, leisure/entertainment, distribution and technology. She deals with contractual, shareholder and intellectual property disputes, employment based litigation and advising high net worth and start-up entrepreneurs.
- Acted for Richard Desmond in a £50 million investment claim against Credit Suisse International and major fund manager GLG Partners LP, advising on a derivative based total return swap transaction.
- Obtained an injunction against the directors of a recruitment company for its major shareholder (a private equity claimant) where the directors had conspired to take control of the company, in breach of their fiduciary duties.
- Advised the Defendant in a claim for passing off brought by Merlin Entertainments Group Limited which called upon Diana’s knowledge of competition law, gained in her role in the competition enforcement department at the Office of Fair Trading.
- Acted on the liability proceedings of the team move case Tullett Prebon pls & others v Anthony Verrier & BGC, for Tullett Prebon regarding its former COO’s move to BGC.
