Trainee solicitors are the lifeblood of our firm, and we recruit people we believe will have a real future with us. It goes without saying that we expect our trainees to be committed, bright, capable and commercially-minded, but equally important is their potential to fit into our culture and contribute to our business. Rosenblatt trainees are soon given responsibility and interesting, challenging work that brings genuine interaction with clients, so it is people who display both integrity and initiative who thrive most strongly at the firm.
It is important for each Rosenblatt trainee to gain broad-ranging, hands-on experience during his or her training contract, so that he or she can then make an informed choice of career path upon qualification. We prefer to focus on a small number of trainees, usually recruiting three people each year and ensuring that each of them spends time training in at least four of the firm’s nine core practice areas.
The firm has a friendly, informal atmosphere and trainees can rely on all the support they need in reaching their full potential. They receive a comprehensive, well-balanced training over a two-year period, at the end of which they stand a strong chance of moving on to long-term employment with the firm.

How to apply
If you have completed your degree, or are in your second year of a law degree or your final year of a degree in a subject other than law, you are eligible to apply for both a training contract and a vacation placement.
